I looooooove munnies! I think they are so worth it! I love sculpting and it just gives me something to start out with instead of having to make an armature underneath for support. There are a million things you can do to them too. If you aren't sure, get a 4 inch one to start out with. They are only 10 bucks so if you decide it's not for you, then it wasn't too big of a waste. :)
